Lennox Furnace LED Codes

With almost any furnace you choose to purchase, you are likely to make some repairs during the course of ownership. This is the case, also, with Lennox furnaces.
You might feel like you are unable to make any sort of repairs on your own, which is fine. In this case, you can simply call a repair person.
However, you may have a little experience with electronics and wish to try to fix the problem yourself. If this is the situation, then you will have a little help from the Lennox furnace LED codes.
In each Lennox furnace, there is a red blinking light. You will find the light on the lower, front panel of the furnace.
This is a diagnostic light that can help you to determine what the problem is with your furnace. If your furnace is not working properly, you can check out the light and watch it to see the pattern.
The red LED light with blink in a sequence when something is wrong with the furnace. For instance, you might observe 3 fast blinks and one slow one.
This would be a code that can tell you what is wrong with your furnace. When you have watched the light for a few moments and you have noted the code, go ahead and write it down on a sheet of paper. This will help you to remember what you have seen.
Now that you have the code, you can find out the nature of the problem. Simply open your furnace door and look for a sheet of paper that has the diagnostic codes written on them.
It should be taped to the inside of the furnace door. If there is no paper there, then you will need to locate your Lennox furnace manual so that you can check out the code and what it means.
Once you have determined what the problem is, you can decide whether or not you want to attempt the repair yourself.
If you do, then you might need to call your local Lennox dealer to get any replacement parts that you might need. If you decide to call a repair person, they should be able to handle getting the replacement parts for you.
