People who have Lennox furnaces attest to having to spend about two to three hundred dollars a year just for repairs. One testimonial reads that he had to have the “brain” of the furnace twice.

  3. lennox model g28r03e-75-7 makes a explosion sound when igniting the heater makes afire ball when igniting, need answer asap. thanks dennis.

  4. dennis sound like you need a new ignitor. It sounds like it is taking to long to get to temp to start flame and gas has built up bu time of ignition thus the sudden explosion sound. There are lots of universal ignitors around if you don’t want to deal with Lennox dealer. My recommendation is to save up and put in a Trane or American Standard. Most reliable units around. good luck

  5. Never have I owned a bigger pos! The total unit (heat/air) is only 6 years old and needs replacement – it is the ELITE series and the warrenty on it DOES NOT TRANSFER if you sell your home – so the people that put it in right before we moved in tried to do the right thing but WE BOTH GOT RIPPED OFF! I will NEVER recommend a LENNOX and am going to Facebook and MySpace right now to let everyone know how the products are not backed up by the warrenties!!
