Lennox Furnace Problems

Do you own a Lennox furnace? Are you having some Lennox furnace problems? That’s the reason why you are reading this page, right? You are having some problems with your furnace. And you want to find out how to deal with it.

Lennox Furnace products have been around for quite some time now. The manufacturer is a subsidiary of the Lennox International Inc. based in Orange, California.

There have been reports of Lennox furnace problems occurring. People are experiencing some trouble with their Lennox furnaces. One issue that users have been experiencing with Lennox furnaces is it doesn’t always turn on.

There have been several reports of their Lennox furnace not turning on. Some people had to set the thermostat to a higher level before the furnace actually comes to life.

People who have Lennox furnaces attest to having to spend about two to three hundred dollars a year just for repairs. One testimonial reads that he had to have the “brain” of the furnace twice.

One said that after a year, it started to conk out on him. This is truly substandard performance of the Lennox furnaces.

People also are reporting Lennox furnace problems that require a lot of part replacements. They say that they have to spend about a hundred dollars at an average. And this is just for parts of the furnace.

Not all people are willing to spend that much for a furnace that regularly breaks down. Even if you call 1-800-9-LENNOX, they wouldn’t be able to help you out. Even HVAC repair centers have difficulty with the repair of Lennox furnaces.

On this note, Lennox clearly shows that there is a lot more room for improvement of the product. It is important for consumers to get the quality that they have paid for. And with what consumers experience with Lennox furnaces, it is a total let down.

It does kind of get annoying when you have to reset your furnace every now and then just to keep you warm. And since the winter season is drawing near, you won’t need a furnace that doesn’t work.

  2. I have a programable thermostat ,if the thermostat is confused for the fan setting for some reason. Will turn off the power reset the program. See the reason I ask is the furnace fan was runing constant well first the program cleaning filters, ok I change that, so I was still seeing the fan on with no heat , and I discovered it was on fan instead of auto fan. This discovered after long day at work, the next morning I turn the power off to the programer and turn it back on. The fan didn’t come on. But if I have problems should I change the thermostat?

  3. I have a Lennox G61MPV-36B-070-01 that the main blower won’t come on I checked voltage from board to motor and have 120 volts. Wasn’t sure if frequency control on motor was faulty? is there any way to check if motor is bad ie ohm out the motor with module removed? I don’t want to order part with out knowing for sure, could the circut board be faulty? I wouldn’t think that was the case because I have power going to motor from board. your thoughts would be appreciated thanks
