I have a Lennox G61MPV-36B-070-01 that the main blower won't come on I checked voltage from board to motor and have 120 volts. Wasn't sure if frequency control on motor was faulty? is there any way to check if motor is bad ie ohm out the motor with module removed? I don't want to order part with out knowing for sure, could the circut board be faulty? I wouldn't think that was the case because I have power going to motor from board. your thoughts would be appreciated thanks

I have a programable thermostat ,if the thermostat is confused for the fan setting for some reason. Will turn off the power reset the program. See the reason I ask is the furnace fan was runing constant well first the program cleaning filters, ok I change that, so I was still seeing the fan on with no heat , and I discovered it was on fan instead of auto fan. This discovered after long day at work, the next morning I turn the power off to the programer and turn it back on. The fan didn't come on. But if I have problems should I change the thermostat?

Lenox G61MPV is 15 months old and our house has never been dirtier. grey dust all over...change furnace filter $32 a pop every 2 months. Furnace tech said we need duct cleaning and that it is not the furnace. He did say we have no air intake pipe, but manual says it can be installed with or without. I think it is picking up dirty air in the house and just recirculating it. HELP...who do I call to get this fixed. Contractor says it is not a problem.

A repairman showed me-pull the rubber-coated ignitor
cable out of the motherboard, cut off one half inch of
cable, plug it back it. Done.

We've a 2+ yr old Lennox Elite Series furnace and heat pump. The controller was replaced within one year then this spring the blower motor went, spewing noxious smoke throughout our home. The fire dept was called at 2:30 a.m. to locate the cause; leaking oil from the blown pump bearings was determined to be the source of the smoke.

Anyone experience similar issues?

Hello all. I am trying to switch curcuit boards inside a Lennox G26Q4/5-125-2. The old board is a CAT. NO. 65K29. The new one is the Surelight upgrade kit 83MOO. I am noticing that not all of the electrical connectors have the same name/abbreviation. The kit also comes with a couple of wiring harnesses. Does anyone know what wires convert to where? I haven't been able to find any conversion charts on the Internet. Thanks.

The Lennox furnace that I have has been nothing but trouble since I had it installed 3 years ago. The flame sensor corrodes and causes the furnace to stop heating. You need to constantly monitor your thermostat all winter so you can reset the furnace when the temperature in the house drops. I had the flame sensor replaced when the furnace was still new but it is acting up again. I had Dimarco Mechanical perform a precision tune-up at the beginning of the heating season but the flame sensor is again causing the furnace to not come on. Don't buy a Lennox lemon!

Dennis Baden- any luck I know what is wrong if you still dont.
Bad furnace castings had factory free replacement except for labor.
g20. If you look inside of damper doors the castings that are actual furnace burner orifaces are cracked and were replaced works perfect.
However my bcc2 is shot and I am going to replace it myself very simply replaced if careful to mark correct wiring. I took photos

Our Lennox Elie Series furnace breaks down regularly due to a dirty flame sensor. I maintain it yearly, change the filter and have replaced the sensor once already. Piece of Junk!

I have a Lennox Elite Series. Same problem as the rest of you! The furnace is 7 years old and the service tech told me likely the compressor is going out ($700 part with a maintenance agrmnt). He allegedly cleans the "pressure switch" and it will work like a champ for about 40 days and then I'll come home from work to a cold house. I can usually turn it off and then back on and get it to come on. The calls for service are getting outrageous. If anyone knows a fix, let me know!

We have a Lennox Model 8MGF. Tech says it is the circuit board. Apparently Lennox have reworked this model 5 times in the past 10-12 years. The circuit board as replaced in this model a year before we bought ours, and now there is a rewiring kit that comes with yet another redesigned board. A $700 fix. Anyone making this company responsible for this?

We have a G24M (X) Installed 10/12/99 Have had trouble every since.
had secondary limit switch's replaced,Replaced control board 9/27/06.
and don't know what else we have service man come out??????

system, comes on like it should, flame goes off, combustion air blower goes off thin flame comes back on thin the flame comes back on, this does this 2 or 3 times before cycle is complete. what a bummer. we would not recommend a Lennox furnace to any one. we will get a different brand this summer.

Lennox is one big nightmare. I have a G61MP and I've changed the flame sensor along with the ignitor cleaned out my condinsation trap and the stupid thing still goes into 4+3 code which no Lennox tech seems to be able to fix. Never will I buy a Lennox again and instead of spending any more money on this 3yr. old I going to replace with different brand. Lennox should be ashamed of their product. the last thing a person needs in the dead of winter is a furnace that wont work.

I had the exact same problem with my Elite G51MP series. Repairman came out and told me the "main switch" was over heating and shutting the furnace down because I had not changed the furnace filter in 12 months. Charged me $105 for service call. It has only been a 24 hours, but furnace is working now.

Not sure what to believe after reading all these negative comments about Lennox. Need to replace 4 furnaces at my apartment building, but not sure what kind of furnace to buy now.

I have a Lennox Elite unit that will not heat. I would turn up the thermostat and it wouldn't fire up the burner. The blower turns on immediately, without any hesitation and there is no clicking from the ignitor. Help
