The new furnace is so much worse than the old one, I can't believe it. We are not comfortable - first we are too cold, the furnace runs until we are too hot than shuts off again until we are too cold. The furnace is located in the middle of the house. When it goes on it sounds like a 747 starting up. We have to close all the doors to the hallway in order to hear the TVs or even at night to sleep. In the beginning I had the installer come out. He said the reason for the noise is the location and the thermostat has to be set as is so the AC doesn't freeze up??? They tried to adjust it once and told me to call if that didn't do the trick. I've been calling for over a year. Since the installer is an independent, he told me he can't be reimburse for the furnace from the company and won't take it back.
